Cashback by redemption is an altogether different animal. With cashback by redemption you have to claim your money back at set intervals, for example, after 6, 9 and 12 months. If you forget to claim, then you will not receive your money. Furthermore, there may be certain criteria attached to your claim, for example, having to send phone bills to prove you did not cancel the contract. Lose a phone bill and you could lose your ability to make your claim.
